Privacy Policy
Scope
This policy covers both the tgffitness.com website and the Tgffitness app for iPhone. The two are different, so each section below says which one it applies to. TGFDESIGN LLC, 1710 Keller Pkwy, Keller, TX 76248, United States, is responsible for both. You can reach us at support@tgffitness.com.
Our Approach to Your Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. It is TGFFitness’ policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our website, tgffitness.com, the Tgffitness app, and other sites we own and operate.
We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we’re collecting it and how it will be used.
We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third parties, except when required to by law.
Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.
You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services.
Your continued use of our website or app will be regarded as acceptance of our practices around privacy and personal information. If you have any questions about how we handle user data and personal information, email support@tgffitness.com or contact us.
The Tgffitness App
This section applies only to the Tgffitness app for iPhone.
Tgffitness is a workout journal for iPhone. It works without an account. There is no username, no password, and no sign-in.
What stays on your device
When you set up the app you may enter a first name, an age or age range, a gender, a weekly goal, and answers to a few short questions about your fitness habits. As you use it, the app stores the workouts you log, the workout types and routines you create, your notes, and your reminder settings.
All of this is stored only on your iPhone, including in a shared container used by the Tgffitness home screen widgets. It is never transmitted to us and we have no way to read it. Deleting the app deletes it. We do not run a server that holds your workout data, and the app does not currently offer cloud backup or sync.
Reminders
If you turn on reminders, the app schedules notifications locally on your device through Apple’s notification system. Nothing about them is sent to us or anyone else.
Advertising
The Tgffitness app contains no advertising and no advertising software. It does not ask permission to track you across other apps or websites, and the analytics described below are used only to improve Tgffitness. They are never sold, shared with advertisers, or shared with data brokers. The advertising section below applies only to the website.
Analytics
The app uses PostHog to understand how features are used so we can improve them. PostHog receives an anonymous identifier generated on your device, the in-app events you trigger such as which screens you open and which features you use, your device model, operating system version, app version, and an approximate country or region.
PostHog does not receive your name, your age, your goals, your workouts, your notes, or any other content you enter into the app. We cannot use this data to identify you.
Crash and Error Reporting
The app uses Sentry to report crashes and errors so we can fix them. When the app crashes or hits an error, Sentry receives the technical details of the failure, including a stack trace, the app state leading up to it, your device model, operating system version, app version, and an anonymous installation identifier.
Your workout content is not included in these reports. Crash reporting is separate from the crash reports Apple may send us if you chose to share them with developers in your device settings.
Purchases
Premium access is optional and is sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. We never see or receive your payment card details.

Website Advertising (Mediavine) (Ver 1.1)
This section applies only to the tgffitness.com website. The Tgffitness app contains no advertising.
The Website works with Mediavine to manage third-party interest-based advertising appearing on the Website. Mediavine serves content and advertisements when you visit the Website, which may use first and third-party cookies.
A cookie is a small text file which is sent to your computer or mobile device (referred to in this policy as a “device”) by the web server so that a website can remember some information about your browsing activity on the Website.
First party cookies are created by the website that you are visiting. A third-party cookie is frequently used in behavioral advertising and analytics and is created by a domain other than the website you are visiting.
Third-party cookies, tags, pixels, beacons and other similar technologies (collectively, “Tags”) may be placed on the Website to monitor interaction with advertising content and to target and optimize advertising.
Each internet browser has functionality so that you can block both first and third-party cookies and clear your browser’s cache. The “help” feature of the menu bar on most browsers will tell you how to stop accepting new cookies, how to receive notification of new cookies, how to disable existing cookies and how to clear your browser’s cache.
For more information about cookies and how to disable them, you can consult the information at All About Cookies.
Without cookies you may not be able to take full advantage of the Website content and features. Please note that rejecting cookies does not mean that you will no longer see ads when you visit our Site. In the event you opt-out, you will still see non-personalized advertisements on the Website.
The Website collects the following data using a cookie when serving personalized ads:
- IP Address
- Operating System type
- Operating System version
- Device Type
- Language of the website
- Web browser type
- Email (in hashed form)
Mediavine Partners (companies listed below with whom Mediavine shares data) may also use this data to link to other end user information the partner has independently collected to deliver targeted advertisements.

This data includes usage data, cookie information, device information, information about interactions between users and advertisements and websites, geolocation data, traffic data, and information about a visitor’s referral source to a particular website.

Website Payments (Stripe)
This section applies only to purchases made on tgffitness.com. Purchases made inside the Tgffitness app are processed by Apple, not Stripe.
When you make a purchase through our website, your payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. Stripe may collect personal data necessary to process your payment, including your name, email address, and billing information. For more information, please review Stripe’s Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our use of your personal information, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email support@tgffitness.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are performance of a contract for purchase records, your consent for website advertising cookies and app notifications, and our legitimate interest in keeping the app stable and secure and in understanding how it is used so we can improve it. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Note that workout data inside the app is stored only on your device, so we cannot access, export, or delete it for you. You control it by deleting the app.
App analytics and crash reports are not linked to your name or contact details, so we may be unable to locate the specific records relating to you. Deleting the app stops any further analytics or crash reports from being sent.
How Long We Keep Information
Purchase records are kept for as long as your access is active and afterward for as long as tax and accounting rules require. App analytics events and crash reports are kept for no longer than 12 months. Data stored only on your device is kept until you delete it or delete the app.
International Transfers
Our service providers are located in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
