Space Requirements

One of the most common worries that people have when considering buying a home gym is how much space is required.

Many people don’t have the luxury of a spare room to devote to their workouts, and they need something that can be squeezed into a tight corner or tucked away in a closet.

Thankfully, both the Bowflex PR1000 and the Bowflex PR3000 only require a minimum of 103″ by 80″ of space.

So even if you don’t have a lot of extra room to work with, one of these machines should still be able to fit in comfortably.

However, the PR3000 is slightly taller than the PR1000, so if you have particularly high ceilings, that might be the better option for you.

The height of the PR3000 is only 83″, so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem for most people.

Ultimately, both Bowflex machines are incredibly versatile and can be adapted to fit any space. So don’t let lack of space stop you from getting in shape.

Bowflex pr1000 reviews

Easy to set up, this is a great machine for toning and strengthening muscle groups. I bought this to help my lower back and it is great for this. It is not for a serious body builder as the weight does not go high enough but for most who want to get in better condition at home, it works quite well. I’m very happy with it.

I used to lift quite heavily and run marathons/triathlons but with a lower back injury and pinched nerve those days are behind me. This helps to keep me in shape and gives me relief from the pain. Highly recommended.

Bowflex pr3000 reviews

We bought the BR3000 Bowflex to change up our workout routine and to do exercises in a more stable, controlled, and safe manner. As we’ve gotten older throwing around free weights is not as much fun as it use to be, yet we want to stay strong and limber as we age. The two of us built the Bowflex in about 90 minutes with the use of standard hand tools.

The only issue encountered was the pulley hooks on both bottom rails toward the footrest were not screwed in all the way and the pulleys came off during some of the first uses. A large crescent wrench solved the pulley problem. After years of free weights, I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the motion and resistance feels while performing each exercise. Our cat loves the Bowflex too and likes to hang out on it like it’s a tree. Looking forward to years of good service from this equipment.

Overall Winner: Bowflex PR3000

If you want a space-saving machine that’s easy to assemble and offers plenty of exercises, the Bowflex PR1000 is perfect.

If you have more room in your home or are looking for something with increased power, durability, and various exercises, the Bowflex PR3000 may be better suited for your needs.

Regardless of which one you choose from these two great options, we know they will help get you closer to achieving your fitness goals!

But the overall win goes to the Bowflex PR3000 for its added features and upgradable resistance.
